Year Space Six Art Day

On the 9th of January 2015 Year Six were lucky enough to have Sarah as an Art teacher for the whole day. All day we decorated sculptures and a banner, from aliens to astronauts and planets to rockets.

The sculptures were made out of: bamboo, cling film, tape, newspaper and coloured tissue paper stuck on with celluase paste (lumpy glue).

There were a variety of sculptures including: an astronaut, a rocket and two aliens.

The banner was a planet of aliens with a number of other planets in the background. The banner was painted using oil pastels and coloured ink.

We thought that it was the best day ever!!! J
