Special Educational Needs Support for Children at Rode Heath

It is the statutory duty of our Governing Board to appoint a representative to oversee SEND provision and to ensure that the school makes appropriate provision for any child with SEND following the requirements of the Code of Practice 2015. The Governor with responsibility for SEND is Mrs L. Asprey.
Cheshire East Local Offer
The purpose of the Cheshire East Local Offer is to enable parents and young people to clearly see what services are available in their area and how to access them. It includes SEN provision from birth to 25 years, across education, health and social care. Take a look at Cheshire East's Local Offer here.

SEND Toolkit
The Cheshire East Toolkit for Special Educational Needs and Disability ( SEND ) is aimed at all educational providers and settings supporting Cheshire East children and young people aged 0-25 years.
It outlines the provision and support that Cheshire East Council expects to be in place in all educational settings which support Cheshire East children and young people with SEND , and forms an important part of the Cheshire East Local Offer for SEND. You can access the toolkit here.
Cheshire East Information, Advice and Support Team (CEIAS)
CEIAS offer free confidential support and information to children and young people with SEND, their parents or their carers. Thry aim to ensure that you feel more informed and that you are able to be fully involved in decisions relating to special educational needs provision.
